  • Qabeel Fans, the Episode You’ve Been Waiting for Has Finally Arrived

    Qabeel

As the holy month of Ramadan hails upon us, everyone rushes to binge on the anticipated TV series of the season. One particular series that’s drawn much attention to it this year is Qabeel, and we have to say, it’s all for the right reasons.

The thriller tells the story of a troubled detective in a quest to catch a wanted serial killer who goes by the name Qabeel. Even though the series stars Mohamed Mamdouh, Amina Khalil, and Mohamed Farrag, the latter two stars have barely made an appearance. Mamdouh, AKA Tyson, has been taking over the series for the past 14 episodes, and besides speculating about who Qabeel might be, everyone’s wondering where Khalil and Farrag are. However, only after last night’s episode, would it be safe to say that everything’s about to be turned upside down.

Episode 15, that we’d like to call “the game changer”, has given us, viewers, two things we’ve been highly anticipating. Even though Khalil and Farrag also barely showed up in this one, it shows that we’re about to see them more often starting tonight. The last scene has left us on the edge of our seats. *SPOILER ALERT* Finding out that Sama and Adam, played by Khalil and Farrag respectively, are actually alive, is the first thread to Qabeel’s true identity.

That major plot twist leaves us with even more questions. However, one thing we’re pretty sure of is that over the course of the upcoming episodes, many questions we’ve had will be soon answered.

If you’ve been dedicating your Ramadan nights catching up with Qabeel’s mysterious events, then the wait is finally over; things are about to get much more exciting. On the other hand, if you’ve been sleeping under a rock and still haven’t watched it, you’d better start binge-watching!

The series is directed by Karim El Shenawy, the mastermind behind Egyptian film, Eyar Nari, and we have to say, the aesthetics and frames are out of this world. As for the thrilling events, credit goes to Co-Writers Mostafa Sakr, Mohamed Ezzeldine, and Karim Youssef.
