At the end of last year, rumours suggested that Snoop Dogg was set to perform in Gouna, thanks to a seemingly obscure and just plain dodgy Facebook event by a Norwegian events company.
But because we as a people were never taught that the stove is hot, another seemingly obscure and just plain dodgy Facebook event has emerged suggesting that the Doggfather is set to perform a gig in Cairo on Friday 20th of May, alongside a group that probably only nineties kids will know, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
The event has been created from the Facebook page of 313 Records, a self-proclaimed independent American gangster rap record label headed by rapper, producer and dental surgeon (wait, what?), Ayman Askar, who may or may not be of Egyptian origin. Yes, it all sounds like it’s made-up and the lack of details only adds further suspicion into this melting-port of the bizarre, but you can make your own mind up and take a look at the event here, which also states that the gig will take place at the Pyramids and that tickets will be available from Match 20th.
In the meantime, here’s a photo of the man himself wearing a funny hat.
