Mountaineer, adventure-junkie, astronaut-in-the-making and all round nice chap, Omar Samra, is a man who doesn’t like to sit still for too long. Anyone familiar with Samra’s long list of height-defying achievements will know that the guy just lives to explore – it’s like wanderlust with a shot of adrenaline.
Samra’s latest escapade is set to take place in Sri Lanka and will see the youngest Arab ever to climb Mount Everest travel across the country – from west to east – on that darn thing called a tuk-tuk and he wants YOU – yes, you – to join him.
The eight-day trip, which is being organised by Samra's Wild Guanabana, will being on Friday 3rd of October - the long Eid holiday.
Along the way, you'll get to see the rich back alleys and side streets that you don't see in holiday brochures and enjoy the beautiful and diverse Sri Lankan landscape through hiking and safari trips, all the while giving back to the community with various volunteer work - in fact, a portion of the fees is being donated Wild Guanabana to help build a school.
