With all attention in Egypt turning to the new iPhone 5 recently, Samsung have gone about their business quietly, with the TradeArabia New Service announcing that the company has released the latest addition to the Samsung ‘fablet’ family in Egypt.
Experts – and Apple-haters – are celebrating the release of the Samsung Galaxy Mega, with many suggesting that it presents the best combination of smartphone and tablet to date.
“Over the past couple of years, the Egyptian market showed great interest in tablets and advanced smartphones. As such, we are keen to continue providing our users with innovative, cutting-edge devices that not only match their expectations, but exceed them” said , vice president of Samsung Egypt, Duke Park.
With a 6,3″, ‘Super Clear’ LCD screen offering full HD 1.280 x 720 resolution viewing, Samsung fans have reason to be pleased. It’s not yet known how much the phone will cost in Egypt, but it has been retailing in the US for around $450 and for just under £300 in the UK. Check out the specs below.
