With a whole bunch of superhero films scheduled for release in 2016, this really is the year of the comic book movie – something that local non-profit, PST (Patient Support Team), is channeling of for their latest charity event.
Though details are scarce right now, what we do know is that on Saturday 12th of March, Green Land Pré Vert International School in 6th of October City will be awash with people dressed up as their favourite superheroes, following on from PST’s last charity event, The Harry Potter Experience, in August of last year. Based on that event, the geeky and the proud of Cairo are in for quite a day.
This is the latest creative event to come from PST, who were founded by a group of Cairo University medical students aiming to channel man-power rather than just money into various local initiatives. The aim of this event is to raise money Abu El Reish Children’s Hospital as well as raise awareness of the good work that PST does.
Check out the Facebook event page and stay tuned for more.
