Following the success of colourful bazaar-come-festival, Crates & Containers, earlier this year, Palm Hills Developments is taking that same spirit to the beach this summer.
Starting from Friday July 17th, Hacienda Bay is set to host Lake Yard; an ongoing six-week festival of food, drink and shopping. Lasting till September 1st, Lake Yard is welcoming some of the trendiest and most popular brands in Egypt across dining and fashion.
The festival is the latest in an increasing number of events to come from Palm Hills Developments and with half of Cairo – don’t quote us on that estimation – set to spend the long Eid weekend along the North Coast, hundreds of holidaymakers are expected to attend what is shaping up to be a very special and quirky set-up.
Among the names you can expect to see – and eat from – at Lake yard include Maadi hangout, Kazouza, Lebanese food chain, Manoushe Street, possibly the best purveyor of Mexican food in Cairo, Gringos, and burger giant, Mince, as well as Mori Sushi, NOLA Cupcakes, the Batter Half & Co., Feteera, Bob’s Hot Dogs and, the stall we’ll be spending most of our time at, Stavolta.
There’s plenty to browse for shopaholics, too; the shopping bazaar will see the likes of Pop Up Shop, ABnG World and Boho Gallery set up shop, while the world of interior design will be represented by Dokan Boutique and Oak & Lace in amongst it all. Even Egy Puppy are going to be there for the needs of your animal companions. They’ve though of everything.
