Lebanese Alpine skier, Jackie Chamoun, has found herself in a bloated whirlwind of controversy, after incurring the wrath of Lebanon’s Youth & Sports Minister, Faisal Karam.
Currently competing at the Sochi Olympics, and considered one of Lebanon’s most accomplished athletes, Chamoun has seemingly offended Karam after a video showing the skier striking some sexy poses for a Swiss calendar photo-shoot surfaced, exposing the shocking truth that she has lady-bits.
While the photos themselves are incredibly inoffensive and wouldn't look out of place as a Vanity Fair ad, Karam has called for an investigation after the video - showing a little more of Chamoun's body than she would have liked - was leaked.
Lebanese Tweeps very quickly came to the defense of Chamoun, with #StripForJackie going viral, and photographers, Tarek Moukaddem and Carl Halal, shooting a host of different decent citizens in their birthday suits as a show of support with the I Am Not Naked campaign.
Moukaddem and Halal explain on the campaign's Facebook page:
"Some women are beaten or killed, others are raped, and the media shifts their attention to a confident talented beautiful woman who represents her country at the Olympic games."
