There’s no shortage of malls, food courts and other loiter-friendly spots around the Saharan suburbs of 6th of October City, but few have crafted as unique an atmosphere as Galleria40.
Steeped in dim lighting and utilizing pleasingly wide spaces, everything about it screams cool, calm and collected and it’s emerged as one of the chicest complexes of its kind.
Well, that’s all – to an extent – going out the window this weekend, as Galleria40 transforms into Gig-lleria40! No? Ok, let’s move on quickly. Between the 9th and 11th of July, Galleria40 is hosting back-to-back nights of live entertainment that tap into the more kitschy side of contemporary Egyptian culture.
The festivities we’ve got lined up for you this weekend will have your kids on the edge of their seats, while taking you back in time with Egyptian classic El Leila El Kebira, in addition to some of Egypt’s most popular voices. #MouledGalleria40 More details here – https://www.facebook.com/events/763118603801013/

Things begin as they mean to go on, with Mahmoud El Leithy kicking things off on Thursday night, before the infamous Saad El Soghayar takes the reigns on Friday. Saturday, meanwhile, closes the weekend with a bang, as Abu of Abu Wel Shabab fame, begins the evening on a distinctly cheeky note, before the man, the myth, the legend that is Ahmed Adawaya takes charge of the mic. The weekend’s entertainment will also include some quintessential Ramadan festivities, with tannoura, oud and mesahararty performances peppering what is shaping up to be a special three days at Galleria 40.
