  • Do Good, Feel Good: Lipton’s New Social Media Movement

With the economy in shambles, traffic getting worse by the day and the bipolar weather we’ve been having, it’s safe to say that Egyptians haven’t exactly been in the best of moods.

Nevertheless, it’s the little things that we can draw positivity from; simple pleasures, like hugs, a chocolate bar from a friend, or your significant other making you a steamy cup of tea in the morning.

Speaking of, which Lipton’s latest movement, ‘Do Good, Feel Good’, is building on that altruistic belief, encouraging people to find happiness in small acts of kindness.

The initiative, featuring none other than Ahmed Helmy, is encouraging people to pay it forward and nominate friends & family to do the same, creating a ripple effect of goodwill.

The movement is set to flood Facebook & Instagram, backed by some of the biggest influencers in the country, including famed fashion blogger, Radwa El Zeki, and delightfully down-to-earth model, Salma Abu Deif, while one of Egypt’s most downloaded apps, Bey2ollk, are also getting in on the act by sending its encouragement to follow road safety tips – and boy do we need that.

Want to get in on the fun? All you have to do is perform a good deed, go to the Lipton microsite, chose a preset GIF that best describes your act of kindness, then upload it to Facebook and/or Instagram with the hashtag  #الحد_الاولانى and nominate two people to follow your lead. Don’t forget to tag @Lipton!
