Proving that you needn’t wait for February 14th every year to ‘wine and dine’ your significant other, Conrad Cairo Hotel restaurant, Oak Grill, is doing Thursday night dining in style with a new concept.
The Cairo 360 Editor’s Choice Award-winning restaurant is one of the best in city – check out this review – and Thursdays will see the magicians in the kitchen put together some typically exceptional dishes from two specially prepared three-course set menus, both at 290LE per person – oh, and there’s a free glass of imported premium wine in there, too. Yum.
The first menu brings together a starter of Poached Red Sea Shrimp with and Avocado Baby Leaf Salad, a main of Grilled US Beef with Wild Mushroom Sauce and Truffle Cauliflower Mousseline and a Fresh Coconut & Grapefruit dessert with Coconut Sorbet.
Hungry yet? Menu number two, meanwhile, begins with a Cream of Coconut & White Beans Foie Gras, before a main course of Pan-Seared Norwegian Salmon Fillet with Sauteed Baby Spinach and Risotto and an After Eight 'Grand Cru Chocolate' Cocoa Crumble dessert. Double yum.
