  • Weekend CGuide: Ramy DJunkie, Glass Onion, Mahmoud El Leithy, & More

    CJC SEB (11 of 20)

Maybe we’ve kissed summer goodbye, but we’re never letting go of the parties here in Cairo. The weekend has the best parties for you, and here’s what’s happening.

Starting off with Thursday where The Woodpeckers and Glass Onion are blasting us with unique performances at Cairo Jazz Club; Ramy DJunkie is mastering one more All Dat DJunk party at The Tap West; and Zio & Space Motion are in charge of this week’s Float party at The Garden Nile Front.

Elsewhere, some hot oriental vibes are taking over; it’s a Cabaret Night featuring Ahmed Raouf and belly dancer Farah Nasri at 24K, and Underground’s usual Sagat Night is  also happening.

Don’t forget, Cairo Jazz Club 610 is bringing Shafie and Richard R. for an Electric Thursday Night and you surely wouldn’t want to miss it!

On Friday, you can start your day with a brunch at The Tap East over the tunes of Hassan Ramzy. Then at night, Tahawy will be ready to blow up your night at Cairo Jazz Club, while DJ Mordy will make you dance all night at Keji. Everyone’s new addiction, aka Mahmoud El Leithy, is taking over Gu Lounge’s WKND Party with violinist Ahmed Mokhtar and the belly dancers.

Favourite duo Aguizi & Fahim serve the best house beats at The Tap East, and Marc Wahba & Azaar are  turning the night to a hot disco dream at Cairo Jazz Club 610.

Want to end it pretty big on Saturday? We’ve got you covered from day to night! First, head to Cairo Jazz Club 610’s tasty brunch where the amazing Nour Project and Sebzz take over. Then enjoy an oriental performance by Dokkan band at Cairo Jazz Club. Or, you can enjoy another kind of oriental performance at Gu Lounge with Abd El Baset Hamouda and the belly dancers.

Also, Cheeseballs are getting a surprise twist at The Tap West in their ‘first’ Cheeseballs with Bastarma night! And Underground is taking you down memory lane at their Oldies Party with DJ Pedro.
