  • Weekend CGuide: More Than 25 Hot Parties Happening Around the Capital

    Don’t tell us you’re not excited for the weekend! The exhausting work days have finally come to an end, and it’s time to check out the hottest parties happening around this great capital!

    Starting with Thursday, 24K is going oriental with their very special Casino Royal night with the amazing belly dancer Sofinar, and on the decks will be the one and only DJ Tommy. Alternatively, you can head to Underground by After 8’s Sagat Night, and shake it all night long with their belly dancers!

    It’s Gu Lounge’s famous WKND Party, where you can hit the dance floor with the sha3by singer Hassan El Kholaky, violinist Ahmed Mokhtar, and their belly dancer. And since we’re talking oriental, the amazing belly dancer, Linda, will be at Rawi.

    Don’t miss Egyptian Project and Bahiyya on stage, performing their acoustic tunes at Cairo Jazz Club for Thursday Night Live. And, The Garden Nile Front is still having its very own All Around Night this Thursday, where the mad spinners Vidaloca, A Salah, and Dozee will shuffle through some groovy sets!

    On the west side of town, it’s another electric Thursday happening atCairo Jazz Club 610 with Elias Doré, Pandhora, along with Sebzz blasting your night. Just a few minutes away, The Tap West is bringing Belgian producer and DJ, Kolombo, and the magnificent Fayek for their Elektro Night.

    And if you feel like you wanna shake it to the best groovy tunes, head to The Tap Eastwith the one and only DJ ZawZaw. Meanwhile, The Tap Maadi is having a cheesy-tunes night with Cheeseballs. Asian restaurant and bar Keji is having a Move To The Groove night with the R&B & hip-hop spinner, Bob Mix.

    On Friday, another great performance is taking place at Underground by After 8 with the amazing Basheer. GŬ LOUNGE is having another WKND party with a mix of some sha3by tunes by Hamza El Soghayar, some magical tunes with violinist Ahmed Mokhtar, and their very flexible belly dancers will be shaking it to some groovy tunes with DJ Hany Hassan. Speaking of belly dancers, the one and only Johara will be at Rawi this Friday, make sure you don’t miss it!

    Meanwhile, Mohasseb will be pumping Cairo Jazz Club’s crowd with some of his best beats. And in their west branch, it’s everyone’s much-awaited party Ma Yatloboh Al Mostam3on at Cairo Jazz Club 610, with superstar Ehab Tawfik, and the hip-hop & R&B DJ, Ramy DJunkie. Back to the east side of the city, it will be a lit Bel 3araby night over at The Garden Nile Front with Nidal Soultan and the belly dancer Daniella. 24K is having their famous Ala Wa7da w Nos night with the belly dancing star Anastasia, and DJ Peto on the decks.

    For all Nirvana lovers, you can head to The Tap Maadi because Seattle Band will be having a tribute night for them. Later, DJ Ahmed Samy will take over the decks.

    If, however, you feel like you wanna listen to some of the best house hits, head to The Tap East for a night with DJ Armen V. Don’t miss an epic wild night at Andiamo Lake House with the international DJ Abou Samra, and local DJs Gawdat, and Hafez.

    If you are in the mood for a laugh, Al Hezb El Comedy will be at302Labs in Nasr City, and even more comedy shows are taking place at Egypt’s First Comedy Club this Friday at 9 Adly street!

    Elsewhere, Canada-based singer/songwriter/keyboardist, Malak Sound, and Glass Onion’s Hany Must are bringing their groovy tunes to The Tap West. Later, DJ Feedo will hit you with the best hip-hop and R&B tunes.

    Saturdays, as always, are way better when you start it with your favourite Saturday brunch and chill at Cairo Jazz Club 610 over the tunes of The Woodpeckers, and DJ Ayman Nageeb. Nearby, DJ Teddy will be up on The Tap West’s decks.

    Back to the east side of the city, the multi-talented artist Ghalia Benali, is going to be taking the stage by storm at Cairo Jazz Club. And if you’re in the mood for a magical jazzy night head to Underground by After 8 because Mostafa Rizk is going to be there. For one more oriental night though, head to Gu Lounge’s Saturday Blast with Mahmoud El Liethy, and the amazing belly dancer Christina. And finally, get ready for a Funktion of Funk ride with DJ Sewwes at The Tap Maadi.
