  • Weekend CGuide: Aly Goede, Marc Wahba, Andromida, Ahmed Shiba & More

Nothing will keep you away from partying, and when we say nothing, we mean it. The city that never sleeps will have you grooving all weekend with some astounding performances by Cairo’s best. So wait not for crazy parties, they are already happening all over Cairo. We won’t let you miss any of them.

Starting off with Thursday, CJC 610’s favourite DJs, Hisham Zahran and Aly Goede are spinning some hip sets on their first day of the weekend. While DJ IKE will be blasting away your pains of the day at The Tap East. And, Mobbz is this week’s R&B night king at the Basement – Urban Pub.

On the other hand, Gu Lounge isn’t letting go of its oriental vibes, and is welcoming Saad El Soghyar and the belly dancer Christina for its WKND party. Also, Mashup Thursdays at Bella Figura is back with the man himself AKM. While CJC, as always, is perfecting the Thursday Night Live party with two of everyone’s favourite bands: The One Four Five and Amro & The Big Bang Boogie.

On Friday, it’s different as usual! Arrab and the brothers Gawdat are taking over CJC. On the other side of Cairo, CJC 610 is bringing Gahallah, Marc Wahba, and Sewwes on the same freaking day! And, of course, the Basement – Urban Pub’s Fel Badroom is still on, who would ever miss their party?

We’ve heard that some people have been waiting for this night at The Tap West, at first we didn’t know why. Now that we know, the famous band, Andromida, will be performing a tribute for Pink Floyd. Enough said right? We guess not. If none of the above is your typical Friday night, then head to Gu Lounge to enjoy yet another unique oriental WKND party, with Abd El Baset Hamouda and the belly dancer Christina.

You say this is the end, but it’s just the beginning. Start your Saturday with a delicious brunch at CJC 610 over Misty’s music. And at night, you can enjoy CJC’s Saturday L’ Oriental party with two bands, Salalem and Sefsafa. Or, you can get another kind of oriental at Gu Bar with Ahmed Sheba and the belly dancers. Back to The Tap Maadi, which is ending your weekend with Hamed El Sayeh’s acoustic tunes.

These are only a few of the events taking place this weekend across the capital – check out the Cairo Gossip calendar for more.
