    thingsblur

With a busy weekend behind us, Cairo’s bars and clubs have recharged and are ready to get back on the proverbial horse with several standout events marking that annoying time in-between one weekend and the other.

    (Sunday)

The Tap kicks off its week with an indubitably heavy dose of hip-hop and r&b courtesy of one of the most prolific men in the urban music scene, the slimmer-than-you-think DJ Fat Sam.

INTERNATIONAL SAX DAY @ CAIRO JAZZ CLUB
    (Sunday)

The notion of an International Sax Day might be a little peculiar, but when you consider that November is also Peanut Butter Lovers’ Month, it doesn’t seem so weird. Who else but Cairo Jazz Club could celebrate such an occasion? Expect a big night of music.
    __________

A NIGHT FROM BROADWAY FT. HARFOUSH @ SAIGON RESTAURANT & LOUNGE
    (Tuesday)

Fairmont Nile City‘s Saigon Restaurant & Lounge is channeling Broadway this week with one of the few active performers in Cairo that could do it justice, the one and only, Ahmed Harfoush.
    __________

FARRA + RITZA + TELEPOETIC @ CAIRO JAZZ CLUB
    (Tuesday)

Tuesdays at CJC are quickly becoming one of the most interesting nights on the nightlife calendar, hosting bands and acts that might otherwise go under the radar of most. This week, electronic fusion band, Farra, electro poppers, Ritza, and post-rock rockers, Telepoetic, take to the stage.
    __________

BEL 3ARABY FT. ABO @ RIVERSIDE
    (Wednesday)

Riverside in Zamalek has been experiencing a resurgence as of late and the latest big name to take on entertainment duties at Bel 3araby is one of the wittiest lyricists around right now, singer-songwriter, Abo.
