  • Things to Do in Cairo This Week

    thingsh

While Cairo nightlife tends to dwindle during the summer months, as bars and clubs retreat and refrain from challenging the allure of North Coast super clubs, things have begun to pick up after the country’s clubbing collective waved goodbye to another Sahel Season. (Monday)

Rooftop Lounge might not be the coolest spot in town, but has attracted some big names over the course of its first year. This Tuesday, the Garden City venue welcomes more big names, in the form of Ouzo, Akladios and Aguizi & Fahim, to celebrate its first anniversary.

A hallmark of Cairo Jazz Club‘s commitment to midweek tomfoolery, the Boogie Monster, Ramy DJunkie returns to CJC for another edition of the uber-popular Boogie Night.

    HOH @ THE MUSIC TENT
    (Wednesday)

The Music Tent‘s latest gig is one of the biggest events of this still young month, as Hany Adel (Wust El Balad), Hany El Dakak (Massar Egbari) and the man considered by many to be the best guitarist in Egypt, Ousso Lotfy, come together for a special collaborative concert.
