As Ramadan inches closer, Cairo’s bars and clubs are beginning to pack-up for hibernation, but seem to be intent on going out with a bang. This week, we have one of Brazil’s finest, a four DJ line-up at Gu Bar, a special night with Ahmed Harfoush, KultKairo’s first album launch and a cheeky edition of DJ Ramy’s Boogie nights.

Cairo Jazz Club are signing off in style before taking its Ramadan sabbatical with a series of big events, the yummiest of which comes this week, as Brazilian producer/DJ, Vintage Culture, headlines another edition of Beats Landing.
THE POWER OF TWO: DOUBLE TROUBLE @ GU BAR
The Power of Two continues at Zamalek’s Gu Bar this week, but with added bonus of having two more DJs than usual – two DJs multiplied by two is four DJs – Fairouz T, Shenzo, Nader Tahawy and Omar Sherif.
BRINGING BACK THE 1980S WITH HARFOUSH
Cairo crooner, Ahmed Harfoush, returns to Riverside for his usual Monday night slot, but this week with a twist. Diving deep into his bag of repertoires, Harfoush is set to take attendees down musical memory lane as he belts out the best eighties tunes.
$$$TAG$$$ ALBUM LAUNCH @ VENT
As one of the more out-there producers in Cairo, $$$TAG$$$‘s new EP, Greater Than The Future, has stirred up plenty of buzz and this week sees ‘Tag Money’ celebrate the release with a special gig at his home away from home, VENT.
BOOGIE WI TAMTAM W/ DJ RAMY DJUNKIE @ CAIRO JAZZ CLUB
Never have we seen anyone pillage our weird television history to such hilarious effect, as Cairo Jazz Club welcomes back Ramy DJunkie for a special pre-Ramadan edition of Boogie nights. Outstanding.
