The hardness and sharpness of my nipples tell me that it’s really cold outside. It’s tempting to go home, jump into bed and initiate an epic How I Met Your Mother marathon, but Cairo’s bars and clubs are making it mighty difficult this week. So, repeat after me: I shall be a sociable human being, I will not spend all week in bed, I shall go out and I shall not be held responsible for accidentally keying someone’s care with my aforementioned nipples.
AGUIZI & FAHIM @ CAIRO JAZZ CLUB
The loveable curmudgeons if Cairo’s cynical DJing scene and Student DJ 2013 winners, Aguizi & Fahim, return to the Cairo Jazz Club decks for a night of indie house and nu-disco.
JAZZING BY THE RIVER FT. AHMED HARFOUSH @ RIVERSIDE
There’s something about Ahmed Harfoush that makes me want to curl up by a fire with an Irish coffee. Maybe the impending Christmas cringe-fest is getting to me. Or it’s because it’s really cold in my office.
MINUS T @ VENT
Although he’s rather busy these days with the behind-the-scenes workings of this year’s Student DJ competition, Minus T has still found time to do what he does best and will be doing exactly that at VENT this week.
DANCESTOCK 2014: PATRICK PODAGE + GAWDAT @ CAIRO JAZZ CLUB
Though originally planned just for November, Cairo Jazz Club has extended this year’s Dancestock with two more gigs. After scheduled headliner, Tapesh, was unable to perform last week after an unfortunate accident, CJC will be wrapping up this week’s guest, Swiss DJ Patrick Podage, in cotton wool.
