In the biggest collabo since Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart got together to make that weird but brilliant cooking show, two of the top names in the nightlife and music games are set to join forces for a special party on Thursday 16 March.
The two names in question are Theater of Dreams and Blurr Entertaiment, both of whom have been rising steadily up the ladder amongst their party-organising peers over the last two years.
This weekend, the two come together for what’s shaping up to be a big night at Cairo Capital Club in Garden City, where Spain-based tech house DJ and producer, Bassel Darwish, is set to headline. Born and bred in Barcelona, Darwish got his electronic music epiphany at the age of 19 and hasn’t looked back since. A frequent name on Beatport’s Top 100, Darwish has played at some of Spain’s biggest clubs and has released material under some of the country’s top electronic music labels.
Dabbling in tech and deep house and even a bit of techno, meanwhile, Jordanian DJ, Kitchen Crowd, is also on the line-up and if his reputation as one of the most prolific and influential figures on Amman’s music scene, we’re in for a treat.
Flying he Egyptian flag, meanwhile, will be two local favourites that are set-up to have a big 2017. Abou Samra is no stranger to Barcelona himself, but has been doing his thing in Cairo as of late, with his audiovisual event series, Anthems, having been a hit in recent months. Meanwhile, Back 2 Basics resident, Jimmy, has been popping up all across the nightlife circuit and is one of the best up-and-comers on the scene.
