With another hot, sticky summer winding to a close, placing Sahel Season 2015 into the equally sticky annals of summer partying, the guys and gals at Nacelle are preparing a comeback of epic proportions.
According to a Facebook post by head Nacellian, Tito, two new concepts are set to debut in the first half of October, with Tuesday 6th marked as the launch of Funk N Pop. Described as a ‘party picnic’ concept, Funk N Pop is set to widen the musical scope of Nacelle events even more, with live bands on the cards as well as DJs, in a laidback, outdoor setting.
On Thursday 8th of October, meanwhile, House Sessions is set to return, though Nacelle’s signature event will primarily return to Fridays. B-Side is back, too, while October 12th will see Behind Closed Doors kick-off; taking place every Monday, it’s shaping up to be an electronic music aficionado’s kind-of-night.
It’s a welcome return for Nacelle, who, apart from an appearance in Sahel earlier this summer, has been dearly missed on the nightlife scene over the last few months. Earlier this year, Tito told Cairo Gossip that there will be more of a concerted effort at giving more room for more local talent to shine; throw in the occasional import and you have a huge season of Nacelle parties ahead.
Stay tuned for more…
