The culture vultures at Downtown bar/art-space/cosmos of oddities, VENT, will play host to the upcoming installment of Future Shorts.
The globally enjoyed pop-up film festival’s winter 2014 edition will see six of the finest examples of the ‘short film’ as a medium unto itself, with work ranging from France to Afghanistan.
Said films have, in the last year, amassed an impressive selection of awards and have been featured at some of the world’s biggest festivals – think Sundance, Berlin et al.
The films will first be screened on Sunday February 23rd at 7.30PM and then again on Monday 24th, with both nights featuring indie rock sets courtesy of handsome jack-of-all-trades, Omar Foda, who recently performed at VENT with band, Living Too Late.
