    'Whims of Freedom' Performance @ Makan

    Performance piece, ’Whims of Freedom’, looks back at the Egyptian Revolution of 1919, as well as the aftermath of WWI in the Middle East, and makes comparisons with modern day Egypt and Syria, whose recent history have been blighted by political and social turmoil. The performance itself takes the form of a lecture that sifts through the narratives through two performers; one Egyptian and one Syrian. Tickets are 20LE. For more information, click here
