'The Blue Flowers' Exhibition Opening @ Townhouse Gallery

Immanuel Amunue’s first solo exhibition, ‘The Blue Flowers’, was born of a ten-year research project that brought together post-Internet art, computer-generated poetry, desert studies, Brazilian neo-abstraction and a world history of natural disasters. Copying various art based on digital images found through Google image search, the Rundu-based researcher then took the works to photograph them in the desert, pushing the pieces back into the digital realm from which his copy was extracted.
